"Gaia Natural Baby was created out of a need because I couldn’t find suitable skin care products for my first child, Joshua who had extremely sensitive skin and suffered from eczema.

I consulted several skin care specialists and doctors and the only solution they would offer was to put Josh on cortisone – an unacceptable option for me.

Living on a certified organic farm and having an interest in living naturally is important to me. I conducted research into the different herbs and oils that would benefit irritated skin conditions and began by making my own herbal remedies to put in Josh’s bath. After some time I found combinations that started to soothe, clean and soften his skin without irritation.

Other mums started to notice how much better Josh’s skin was looking and asked me what product was I using - it was amazing when I said "my own concoctions" what a positive response I was getting.

I was amazed at the high number of mums who were also frustrated at not being able to find suitable skin care products for their baby's sensitive and irritated skin so I have formulated a range of products especially for the problems that so many parents faced and couldn’t find a satisfactory solution for.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to provide other parents with beautiful skin care that is all natural, free from irritants and drying agents, and nourishes, nurtures and cares for the skin of our precious little ones!"
